1935 Packard Super 8 1205 Deitrich Convertible Sedan

Look carefully where the accent line on the quarter panel meets the door. The edges are damaged
and the gap in body line is poor. Lead had been applied but the damage was not repaired.

Looking at the right side, the wood 'rocker' can be seen running the length of the body
from the metal brace at the lower cowl side corner to the wheel opening.
The center divider doubles as the front seat back. This model does not have the
divider window although it was built using the same center divider as cars that utilize the window.

This shows the rocker panel or sill panel cut away and exposing rotted wood. We didn't have to cut much
metal away to see the damage. Lead had been applied on top of metal thin with rust and full of holes.
The rotted wood was preventing the lead from falling through the holes. The wood actually crumbled to the touch.
