1935 Packard Super 8 1205 Deitrich Convertible Sedan

The deteriorated wood can be seen here at the front of the right rocker panel.

Obviously structural integrity is very important. This picture shows the rocker wood, a crossmember,
B pillar and the trunk floor being fit in place. We believe it is extremely important to be
competent in both the wood structure and metal skins when restoring coachwork. The fabrication,
fit, shaping and final metal finishing require working both the wood and the steel (or aluminum)
simultaneously. Customs & Classics can handle any coachwork including aluminum bodied cars.

The left and right cowl supports are being fit and installed. They have been restored and painted.
The center section (back part of the front seat) is being fit now, you can see more new floor just
ahead of it. Also critical is using the proper type of wood, screws and nails. It is just as easy to do
the job right as it is to do it wrong.
